Friday Favourites: Hundreds and Thousands

A True Love of Mine: Hundreds and Thousands

This week is totally cray cray. Work went back for the year and, for some reason, I thought it was a good idea to move house this weekend. Hubs and I are moving into a first home together which is pretty exciting! Anyway, I chose Hundreds and Thousands for this week’s Friday Favourites post because it harks back to childhood days of fairy bread and these delicious hundreds and thousands biscuits. Basically, days where everything was much simpler.

A True Love of Mine: Hundreds and Thousands

Did anyone else eat copious amounts of these biscuits as a child? I find them so comforting with their sweet, pink, candy tops covered in a blanket amount of hundreds and thousands. I’m sure that the biscuit itself is just a normal vanilla one but the pink and sprinkles seems to elevate it to heavenly levels. Or perhaps its just the sugar high talking. I’ve been eating these babies all week as I pack up my apartment as I find them so comforting. So much so that I even ended up painting my nails to match.

Bam!

I actually didn’t deliberately give myself a hundreds and thousands manicure. I promise. Although, that is definitely something I would do. It happened because I pulled out the OPI pink that I wore on my wedding day and wanted to jazz it up somehow. A top coat of the Sportsgirl light pink glitter polish was perfect.

So, just a quick post this week as i’m exhausted from packing and cleaning. How do you lovelies survive and recover from moving house? Id be so grateful for any tips!

What can I say? I love sweets, in all shapes and sizes! You only live once, so why not indulge once in a while? Or, in my case, most of the time...

  1. Surprise surprise – I haven’t tried these biscuits, they look fun and I’m absolutely loving the accidentally nail match up.

Moving… Its always MADNESS. My only advice is to know the number of any takeaway place nearby that delivers because you’ll 110% want to order in.

  2. Wait… Laura… are you serious??? I am bringing you some of these biscuits. This can not be! Thanks for the takeaway tip, I think that will be necessary tonight :/
