Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy addressed his ongoing feud with former Pro Bowler and current NFL Network analyst Steve Smith Sr.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Jeudy explained he has "no hate" toward Smith but didn't appreciate he said one thing publicly on television and tried to act differently toward him when the cameras weren't around.

Jeudy II: "And I would have listened to what he had to say. Where I'm from, if somebody talked bad about you, you don't go to them in person and try to act friendly toward them … I have no hate towards Steve Smith. He was a good player. ...

Juedy IV: "but at the same time, I know somebody talked bad about me, I told him what it is and moved on from there. He went and took it to the media stuff and made it bigger than what it needed to be.'' #9sports

The situation became public last week when Smith explained prior to kickoff of the Thursday night game between the Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs that Jeudy brushed him off at Arrowhead Stadium for comments made on his Cut to It podcast.

Smith explained he referred to Jeudy as "JAG," or just a guy, rather than someone who will make a significant impact on the success of the team. He said he attempted to apologize when he saw Jeudy before the game, though he made it seem like a half-hearted attempt:

NFL Network's James Palmer recorded video from the field showing Jeudy appearing to respond to Smith's comment.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Jeudy said, "I don't remember that" when asked about what happened with Smith prior to kickoff.

Jeudy finished the game with a season-low 14 receiving yards, as the Broncos lost to their AFC West rival for the 16th consecutive time dating back to the 2015 season.

It wouldn't be a surprise if Jeudy winds up playing for another team by the end of this season. The Athletic's Mike Jones reported the Broncos are in "sell mode" leading up to the trade deadline amid a 1-5 start.

Denver selected Jeudy with the No. 15 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft after he made the All-SEC first team in back-to-back years in 2018 and 2019 at Alabama. He's been a disappointment in the NFL, but did have a career-high 972 receiving yards and six touchdowns last season.
