Foxhole Fabrication Brake Duct Kit for Mazda MX-5 NA NB

Foxhole Fabrication have carefully engineered their brake ducts to provide the best brake cooling possible. The hose angle is designed specifically to direct air to the vanes in the disc, cooling the brakes from the inside out which significantly increases performance. Actively cooling the brakes reduces the chance of the brake fluid boiling, preventing a spongy pedal feel. The reduced temperatures keep the brake pads within their ideal operating range, improving their performance and reducing wear.

Two versions are available for cars with or without ABS. Cars without ABS can position the duct even closer to the vanes in the disc, offering the ultimate performance. Later NAs without ABS can have the casting for the ABS sensor which can be cut off to get the non-ABS duct to fit. Cars with ABS require the ABS specific ducts and the sensors swapping left to right. We recommend replacing the sensors as they are easily broken. The ducts are designed with a removable section that provides clearance for fitment on the bulkier NB spindles.

We’ve taken the Foxhole Fabrication brake ducts and completed the kit using only the best parts available from Revotec. We’ve carefully selected each part to compliment the performance of the brake ducts to ensure this kit is of the best quality and performance throughout.

The Revotec spun aluminium air inlet has a radiused bell mouth to provide optimum flow into the brake ducts. They are supplied with adhesive pads to attach to gimp masks and other flat surfaces. The hard-wearing flexible red silicone fabric ducting is engineered to keep air resistance to a minimum and can withstand temperatures from -80 + 310°C. Specific ducting clamps are supplied which step over the metal spiral, securely clamping the ducting to the inlet and the ducts without twisting or distorting.

It is recommended to change the hub nuts when installing the ducts. A 29mm socket is required for the front hub nuts on all 89-05 cars.

Warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship only. Warranty is for replacement of a similar product, repair of the original product or refund of the purchase value only and excludes all labour and incurred charges including towing, fitting, inconvenience, and purchases of other manufacturer's products. The warranty is good for the period stated in the additional info tab from the date of purchase. Mileage warranties are for road use only and proof of mileage is required. Products must be installed by an independent experienced professional mechanic and the suspected defect must be present at the outset. The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect installation, failure to comply with the maintenance requirements of the vehicle, processing or otherwise changing the product, ordinary wear and tear, or any other external influences. Warranties are invalid if the product is used for racing, rallying, drifting, track days or any other form of motorsport or competition. Making a warranty claim

Proof of purchase receipt showing the date of purchase, proof of mileage at installation, proof of current mileage and invoice of the work undertaken by an independent experienced professional mechanic must be supplied along with the returned products for a warranty claim to be considered. If your vehicle needs to be used whilst your warranty claim is considered replacement parts from the same manufacturer should be purchased through BOFI Racing. In the event of a successful warranty claim, we will refund the card that was originally used to purchase the replacement parts, in full or in part depending on the nature of the claim. BOFI Racing reserves the right to make full or partial compensation at its sole discretion depending on the condition and mileage use of the returned suspect parts. For example, if you have used the part for several thousand miles before a defect is noticed, only partial compensation may be offered.
