Anika Rose Moa is a clever, charismatic and funny as hell singer, songwriter, talk show host (All Talk With Anika Moa) and now model from New Zealand/Aotearoa. She began writing pop songs at the tender age of 13 and is now an established singer, writer and mother of three. I sat down with Anika and asked her three intimate questions. These are her real words.

What attracted you to Cathy Pope Jewellery?
What attracted me to your jewellery was the simplicity and elegance. If you look closer it’s like a mirror that reflects you as a woman, how you see yourself in your jewellery, which is what I saw. Me -simple, alive and wild.

What would you tell your 20 year old self?
I would say to my 20 year old self to not worry and be happy foremost. I wasn’t happy in my body and growing into a woman was intense so I would say just enjoy the ride, be bold, be brave and be loud. Don’t fall in love so bloody quickly. Patience is key lol.

What are the most important things you’ve learned in life so far?
I’ve learnt the most important thing is not to give a fuck about what anyone thinks of me and to do what I love because I’m the only one that has to bear the cross. Laugh at myself!
