Guy Protests Random Everyday Things And His Pics Go Viral

New Yorker Seth has been cementing himself into the hearts of the general public thanks to his low-key protests which he holds on various street corners around New York.

A picture of Seth's first protest, in which he is seen holding a sign saying "Stop 'replying-all' to company wide emails" was shared to Reddit where it amassed over 100, 000 upvotes.

I mean, who really can't relate to this? It was this relatability that cemented Seth as an advocate for discussing the real issues.

Seth's Instagram and Twitter pages — called simply "dudewithsign" because why over complicate things — provide him a gargantuan online platform to vent about issues which other people simply don't have the courage to speak out about.

When not tackling far-reaching societal issues like replying-all and people's annoying social media habits, Seth takes time to look at more person issues; because, at the end of the day, you need to be true to yourself.

While most protesters who experience a sudden explosion of exposure into the public eye may feel the pressure to adopt a more professional style of sign, Seth has remained true to his roots.

The rustic (or just plain lazy) cardboard signs give Seth's protests a more grounded feel; truly, he is a man of the people.

While the public is yet to accept Seth as their one true savior, he has been receiving positive feedback on his journey to deity-status, with people responding with comments such as:

"Thank you for catching this. You are changing the world one complaint at a time."

"This guy is the best!"

Someone also simply commented, "i love you", to which another replied, "we all do".

Due to Seth's platform having such an immense following, people have taken to asking Seth to pioneer their own personal causes, including the likes of:

"This guy gets me. Waiting for him to do a sign that says 'stop honking the second the light turns green'... but he's pretty much covered all my other pet peeves already."

Some people, however, just yell their annoyances at poor Seth: "NOBODY CARES HOW MUCH YOUR BABY WEIGHS"

As with anything that becomes popular, there have also been some people parodying Seth's act. One Instagram user called dudettewithsign has managed to gain over 44, 000 followers, and the pair frequently taunt each other.

In one post where dudettewithsign held up a sign reading, "stop sending 3am 'u up?' texts", dudewithsign replied, "literally it was 2:20". It's good that the pair can enjoy a friendly rivalry!

At a time where the world seems ever more disillusioned with politicians, it is important to have people like Seth around to inspire the public to stand up for what they believe in! This man is an everyday hero, a visionary, and a man with clearly too much time on his hands. If only we could all be these things, the world would surely be a better place.

All daylight saving time does is mean that all of the clocks in my house, and on my car, are wrong for half of the damn year!
