Daily Postcard: Fogbow Spotted Over Valle Grande

Daily Postcard: A fogbow or white rainbow spotted Tuesday morning looking into the Valle Grande at the Valles Caldera National Preserve (VCNP). Fogbows don’t show as many colors as rainbows because the water droplets that make up the fog are much smaller than raindrops. They occur when the sun is shining brightly behind you and the fog is thin, as happens many mornings in the VCNP.  Source: Farmers Almanac  (https://www.farmersalmanac.com/what-are-fogbows-22862).
