Workplace noms..I was looking to expand my lunchtime food repertoire while craving pasta. It's not a fancy place - you order fast food style and there's no table service. There's not even free WiFi. However, it did it's job (very appropriate :)
It's located in a shopping plaza along NW 25th Street , central to the warehouses and office parks in Doral and close to where I get my pretty boy swag. There are like three or four recession gourmet specials, of which I enjoyed the ziti with plain bread (sorry, I don't do garlic bread on a Friday pre-Happy Hour.) Bread was warm, soft and a good carb hit. My Ziti was tasty, and just shy of aldente. However, the marinara sauce had a hint of sweetness in it and there was enough basil. Besides, the red pepper sprinkles are in the open and I liberally utilized. I did like that cokes are free refill and tasted like the original coke. The only food-related booboo is no butter to put on the bread, not even for sale.
3.5 stars, I plan to be back!Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Luca S.Doral, FL12112Jul 27, 2013

I actually stumbled in this place by accident on my lunch break, thinking it was the entrance to the sub place next door. I was distracted by my time constraints and my constant incoming messages from my job that by the time I looked up and realized I was in the wrong place I figured it would be way too embarrassing to back out the door.
It was a lucky accident because I was greeted warmly and treated so nicely by the staff who explained all the new specials they were offering. They have Pizza and mouth watering pasta. I ended up ordering the chicken roll which is chicken with spinach in the middle, wrapped in bacon and served with penne pasta and 2 garlic rolls. I ordered it to go and could hardly resist digging into it in my car from the wonderful aroma filling my senses on my drive back to work. It was flavorful and despite being pasta, it was not heavy which was really surprising. The portion was a lot to eat in one sitting so I saved a little less than half for later. My coworkers were green with envy and yours will be too so be prepared to share.
I went back the following week and tried the pizza combo which is 2 slices, a garlic roll, and a drink. Great pizza! The pasta meal was apx $10 and the pizza combo was $7 so I was pleased with the price. I will definitely be coming here on my lunch break and welcome it as a break from the monotony of what's available quick and inexpensive in the area.Helpful 9Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Ibrahim B.San Diego, CA71734Jun 28, 2013

If you want my personal opinion this place is not a restaurant is a pizzeria. Pasta plates were OK but expensive for a Pizzeria place.
Pizza here is good. If I order from this place again it would be pizza and garlic rolls nothing else.
Two people were taking care of the customers, the one cooking and the other serving the tables, probably the owner or manager. Service was adequate but they were only two tables busy and one was ours.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lis G.Miami, FL07Feb 7, 2014
The food is excellent and the service fantastic. I went with a few girlfriends and had a chance to sample several dishes, all were delicious!
The only thing keeping this restaurant from being 5 stars is the ambience. Everything was clean, but the decor doesn't really live up to the fabulousness of the food.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kelli F.Fort Lauderdale, FL293May 31, 2013
I first ordered the pizza and brought it back to the office. There wasn't a bite left. It was "delicious". I went back for lunch and had the ravioli with fresh vegetables, I can't express how amazing the food is. True authentic Italian food. I am an Italian woman from NY and this is the first restaurant that I can honestly say "makes me feel like I'm right at home". The prices are more than fair and also, just as important to know... the staff was friendly and kind. The wait was minimal and this place was packed.

Best Italian food in Miami! We decided to go to Pappa E Ciccia after stumbling upon a really decent groupon deal. It was close to home, and we wanted to do a Friday night dinner, so why not? What a DIVINE experience! One of the owners greeted us and talked to us at length about their fantastic menu and HOMEMADE pasta (I could actually see the lady making the pasta...she waved at us). Anyway, later the other owner came out and brought us our delicious meals which were superior to any other pasta I've ever had in Miami. The cheeses, sauces, and the overall texture of the fettuccini and gnochi that we had were sublime! We commented over and over on how the location truly doesn't do the restaurant justice. Just the quality of food alone should warrant a $16 plate in a region like Coconut Grove or South Beach. The staff really add the finishing touch. I felt like I was dining with Italian pals. Such warmth and humor!!!
Recommendation: Try the 4 cheese gnocchi and fettuccini parmesan with a glass of their house malbec! WOW!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Laura D.Detroit, MI28428316May 29, 2013
This place is great! We went here for lunch after reading a review on Yelp and I was definitely not disappointed. The place was very cheap and the food was spectacular. The service was great and prompt. I ordered a fettuccine with cream sauce, parmesan and mushrooms which was delicious. I also ordered a tiramisu for desert and I have to say it's the best one I've had in a while, only wish it brought more. One of my coworkers ordered a salad and she was really happy with it and another ordered spaghetti which she said was really good. Overall, I'll definitely be returning to this place.
