Pappa Yolk's Grill

Food wasn't that good to me.. hash browns weren't crispy, eggs seemed over cooked. I liked the atmosphere and the service was great, but food wasn't anything special to me. My husband got a steak with his eggs and it had a lot of gristle.

We have driven past here several times and the parking lot is always full! So this morning we decided to try their breakfast. Our server was friendly, cheerful, courteous, & kept our coffee cups filled! The food was very good and there is a good selection. I had a breakfast taco & my husband had pancakes, eggs, & sausage. He. Ordered eggs over medium & they were perfect with runny yolks, but no runny white. Recommend this place & we will be back!

Great breakfast! Came out in like 4 minutes.. piping hot. Huge portions. The gravy is delicious. Attentive, nice staff.... and Policemans Way wall honoring Pasadena's fallen officers. Loved it!

The service (Crazy Christy) was great. The food was very delicious!!! Everyone should try the the pork chop with eggs. You will not regret it. Christy was amazing as well and you should ask for her!

We decided to try again because the waffles were amazing. I ordered two waffles. One waffle came out and it wasn't as good as last time but still kinda alright. I had to slather with syrup. I told her to nix the second one. She came out and told me the manager wouldn't remove because it was already made. Well that's interesting. So we're paying for it but we won't be coming back. The waffles aren't even that good anymore.

Meh. The Belgian waffle was amazing but that's the only thing from here worth eating. We tried Belgian waffle, eggs, hash browns, chicken fried chicken (horrific), biscuit and gravy, coffee - Waffle House is tastier than here.

If you are looking for a mom and pop breakfast and lunch place. Look no further. Get breakfast for the price and the service is what you would expect from a mom and pop place. Friendly and polite. They check on you to make sure that you are taken care of and they always greet you with a smile!

Our waitress was top-notch, I wish I got her name so I could compliment her here. We tried the chicken and waffles, and as a recommendation from our waitress we topped the waffles with over-medium eggs and the specialty syrup... I was sad to take my last bite because it was SO good. The syrup tasted buttery and sweet and made our waffles taste like a cinnabon. We will definitely be back!

Everything was excellent and delicious. very inviting inside warm atmosphere. Homemade food tasteful.

I just visited this grill on a Sunday morning and my service was not great. I ordered a side order of biscuits(which comes with two) and 2 entrees. When the food came out I only received one biscuit which threw me off. We didn't have any silverware so she said she would bring some back but never did. My table waited patiently but I eventually had to go up to the hostess and ask for silverware. By the time I had silverware my food was cold, but I won't lie, the food is good. After we were done eating we waited patiently for about 15 minutes before we had to ASK for our check.
