Update March 15, 2022 : Added simplified STL files.

Blinky is the next step in evolution. Originally showing up in The Simpsons, we know his species lasts at least 1,000 years into the future as he also shows up in Futurama.

Assembly

The print consists of a body and 3 eyes. The eyes simply insert into the sockets (I did not find glue to be necessary; your mileage may vary). The eyes have small recesses for the irises; I used a felt tip pen to blacken these.

Also included is an “all in one” version with the eyes included in the body.

Print Instructions

Print in PLA using the 3mf or gcode files provided. Note that supports are required. For best results print the eyeballs in white and the body in orange or other darker color.

Note there are two variations :

1. Eyeballs and body in separate STL files (this is the version printed here)
2. All one piece for simpler printing (supports still required)
