Default Cortina MKV

Hi everyone. I know this isn't the 'for sale' section, however, here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure!

FOR SALE

1980 Ford Cortina Mk V 2.0 GL

EKU 397 V

4284 Miles

4 Owners

Up for sale is a stunning example of a Ford Cortina. Arguably one of the finest examples around, certainly must been seen to appreciate how clean it really is.

I bought the car in 2004, almost in the same condition as you see it today. The Cortina Owners Club reliably informs me that this particular vehicle was built in Germany, December 1979 and was first registered in Sheffield (KU) on 11/02/1980 where it has remained to this day.

It comes with 12months MOT and 12 Months tax and is ready to drive away as a reliable every day classic.

It comes with an extensive history including many of the past MOT certificates, tax discs, receipts totalling £864.03 – but not representing just how much has been spent getting the car to where it is today) and the original owners handbook.

This car has undergone a nut and bolt, panel by panel rebuild from the bottom up, it is extremely close to becoming a concourse contender if it is not there already.

I have numerous trophies and plaques including ‘Best in show’, ‘Best Cortina Mk IV/V’, which will also be sold with the car.

The car has also had a taste of TV fame where it featured in an ITV feature film titled ‘Drive’ starring Michelle Holmes from ‘Rite, Sue and Bob too’, of which I have a copy.

If you have any questions or require any more photos please do not hesitate to ask.

I can be contacted at peter.shaw34@btinternet.com in the first instance.

Viewings and offers welcome.
