Mandy Patinkin is trying out a new look.

In a video the Tony-winning actor shared on Instagram Tuesday, he sports an unusually skimpy ensemble, consisting of a Ricky Martin tank top, short shorts, black Ugg boots and a backward red baseball cap, while lounging outside.

“Always important to explore and expand your fashion,” the Homeland star began the caption of the post.

Patinkin went on to explain that his yoga teacher loaned him the edgy outfit.

“Our favorite yoga instructor and stupendous human being @benjaminflowersyoga was gracious enough to lend me one of his favorite outfits and it felt amazing,” he wrote. “If you are into yoga and want to go deeper or looking to start for the first time can’t recommend Benji enough!”

In the video, Patinkin proclaimed: “I have great legs, my father’s legs. I’ve always had them, and I don’t get to show them. So this is a way to honor my father.”

The cheeky video prompted plenty of comments, and Patinkin proceeded to reply to several.

“I don’t want to see Saul Berenson like this!” wrote one person, referring to Patinkin’s no-nonsense character on Showtime’s Homeland.

“This is what Saul wore on the weekends,” responded the actor.

Another person took issue with Patinkin’s habit of opening and closing a kitchen tool while he talks.

“But why do we all have to do that with the tongs?” read the comment. “They become the adult version of a fidget spinner!”

“We felt they tied the outfit together,” Patinkin replied.

Despite being an accomplished dramatic actor, Patinkin has previously proved he’s not afraid to show his sillier side.

In 2020, he and his wife, actress Kathryn Grody, joined TikTok and took part in a "twerk for me" challenge to encourage young fans to vote in the election.

Before they started dancing, Patinkin stopped the music to share a message with his followers.

"I want to thank all the young people who welcomed Kathryn and me to TikTok," he said. "Listen, if you're too young to vote, you can still help by getting your parents, your grandparents, your uncles, your aunts, your friends, anyone who's old enough to vote, to vote."

"If it's your first time voting, make sure you're registered correctly, otherwise your vote won't count," he said. "Gotta get Biden and Harris in the White House. Blue up and down the ballot, good luck to ya. It makes all the difference."

He then completed the dance challenge with his playful take on twerking.

"TikToker might be the most difficult job I've had yet!" he captioned the video.
