The Beauty of New Zealand - New Zealand Landscape Photography Locations Series - #1 Tasman Glacier
New Zealand is heaven for Landscape Photographers. Whether you are a pro, amateur or just getting started, there are many inspiring locations to put your camera to work and capture the pure beauty of the world around you.
In my series, "The Beauty of New Zealand" I aim to showcase my shots taken at some of my favorite locations, with Google maps links and other information.
#1 - Tasman Glacier

The Tasman Glacier is the largest Glacier in New Zealand. To get there, we stayed at Aoraki Village at Mt Cook, took a short drive to the Blue Lakes Car Park. From there the walk up to the viewpoint is about 15 minutes of stairs after which you will reach the stunning view in my photo. The walking track is a just under 2km round trip which gives you beautiful views of the glacier as well as the Blue Lakes.

Reflection of the mountain in the lake. Beautiful! Snow at the tops of mountains makes it even better.
