Some might say ‘it’s only a last name’ but I’m saying ‘exactly, so why can’t we change it?’

We need to acknowledge racism in every way we can and even if that means changing the name of a cheese. 

The word Coon has been weaponised against aboriginals in this country. People are upset. 

An anti-racism campaigner tried to get the name changed in 2008, this cheese was used in a bullying campaign of an aboriginal woman in September 2014, and frankly, it offends. 

Its just cheese right? So let’s change the name and show that although Australia has a deeply racist past. We are committed to a fair and equal future.
