Rebecca Loos has spoken out after the resurfacing of the allegations she had an affair with David Beckham.

Beckham’s former personal assistant, now 46, was accused of having a four-month romance with the footballer in 2003 when he moved from Manchester United to Real Madrid.

The claims have been revisited in the new Netflix documentary Beckham, which drops on the streaming site today. In the four-parter, the couple address the highs and lows of their marriage and open up on the difficult time they faced.

Rebecca has now ditched the limelight and relocated to Norway after previously saying she had 'no regrets' about speaking out in 2004.

She met her husband Sven Christjar Skaiaa while filming reality TV series 71 Degrees North and now teaches yoga. Last night, as previews of David and Victoria's tell-all documentary dropped following a star-studded premiere, Rebecca took to social media to promote her Yin yoga class.

Appearing at Silvia's Beauty Studio, she looked elegant with her hair scraped back into a pony tail and explained she's having "botox for the hair" as she excitedly filmed the procedure.

When making the claims to Sky at the time, as writes the Mirror, Loos said Beckham was an “amazing lover” and alleged they couldn’t “keep their hands off each other”.

It was reported she said to Kay Burley at the time: "We were just locked into each other all night conversation-wise, other people noticed… we just connected. I think the chemistry between David and I was so strong… people were aware and they weren’t very happy. He knows how to please. He’s not afraid of a woman’s body. He seems to know what he’s doing.”

The dad-of-four, 48, has always strenuously denied the claims, which he blasted as “ludicrous”.

In a statement at the time, the then 28-year-old said: "During the past few months I have become accustomed to reading more and more ludicrous stories about my private life. The simple truth is that I am very happily married. I have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing any third party can do to change these facts."

Loos, who now works as a yoga teacher, is never mentioned by name in the Netflix series. Director Fisher Stevens manages to coax some candid words from David and Victoria to find out how they coped with the press intrusion at the time, when the alleged scandal hit headlines.

Speaking in the documentary, Victoria fought back tears as she described the allegations as the 'hardest time' of the couple's life.

The fashion designer said it was the only time in her marriage she felt as though she and David no longer 'had each other.'

Victoria also says in the show the time was “the unhappiest in her life” and she looks teary as her husband opened up on the “pressure" they faced, which made them feel like they were "drowning" for weeks afterwards.

In extracts of the documentary shared with The Sun, Victoria said: "It was the hardest period because it felt like the world was against us.

“Here’s the thing — we were against each other if I’m being completely honest. You know, up until Madrid sometimes it felt like us against everybody else but we were together, we were connected, we had each other. But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we had each other either. And that’s sad. I can’t even begin to tell you how hard it was and how it affected me. It was a nightmare."

Four-part series Beckham launches on Netflix today.
