Rebecca Loos has seemingly reacted to Netflix's Beckham documentary, in which David and wife Victoria address his alleged affair.

A former personal assistant to the footballer, Rebecca claimed the pair had a four-month-long affair while she was working for him in 2003, when the star was playing for Real Madrid.

David has always denied her claim, but in the documentary he and Victoria revealed their feelings about the scandal.

"It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage," David said, speaking about the "horrible stories" printed about his marriage.

Victoria added the time was "the hardest period for us", because, "it felt like the world was against us. And here's the thing: we were against each other, if I'm being completely honest."

Rebecca has appeared to address the comments via a cryptic story on Instagram, posted October 11.

Sharing a selfie, the former glamour model and TV personality captioned the snap: "A part of me wants to continue keeping my head down and getting on with my life, the other part of me wants to speak out," alongside a quizzical emoji and a question to her fans that read: "What is your take?"

Rebecca also added an option for her followers to respond whether she should "speak out" or "keep quiet".

At the time of publication, 63% of followers have voted for Rebecca to "speak out".

Rebecca sold her story to the now-defunct News of the World tabloid. She lost her job with the Beckhams, but went on to become a TV personality as well as appearing on the cover of Playboy.

While she has now largely stepped away from fame, she appeared on Channel 5's The Farm, as well as Celebrity Love Island and The X Factor: Battle of the Stars.

Speaking previously on the frenzy that her claim generated, Rebecca said: "I took a lot of wrong decisions and got talked into a lot of things. Of course, if I could go back in time I might change some things, but wouldn’t everyone? I have no regrets."

Beckham is available to stream on Netflix.
