Gone, but never forgotten. Although The Beach End was the away support enclosure when I started going to Pittodrie in the late 80's, I have heard many Dons fans claim that it had the best atmosphere of any stand in the whole of Scottish Fitba before then. Generations of Aberdeen supporters before me will have fond memories of sitting there (and falling forward over rows of benches in celebration) in the pre-Richard Donald Stand era.
