There were some work roads that made the whole trip delayed by an hour. Not the driver's fault. Ended up, the one house delay was not compensated to us in other forms. It was like, no one was responsible for that. Overall, the bus driver was good, multi skilled and hillarious.

Very good bus driver/commentator. Ticketing was fine. Unfortunately the bus was full when my husband and I boarded in Te Amou so we were not able to sit together. Very friendly staff on the cruise. We rode up in the wheelhouse and enjoyed the commentary from the staff.

Everything went to plan ticketing etc well organised. Loved all the goodies in the bag for lunch. Enjoyed the waterfall experience though did not stay on deck to get wet. Staff were very efficient.

From Te Anau to Milford Sound

As you travel towards Milford Sound, your journey takes you along the edge of Lake Te Anau, entering the breathtaking Fiordland National Park. Witness the transition from beech forests to the Eglinton Valley, a spectacular glacier-carved valley. The drive includes stops at scenic spots like the Mirror Lakes, where, on calm days, the surrounding mountains are mirrored in the water. The route also takes you through the impressive Homer Tunnel, a 1.2km passage through solid rock.

Upon arrival at Milford Sound, board a luxurious vessel for a 2-hour cruise of the sound that Rudyard Kipling once hailed as the eighth wonder of the world.
