At roughly the halfway point of the second half of Sunday’s All-Ireland final, things were looking extremely promising for Kerry. Despite the needless concession of a goal that threatened to ignite Dublin, the Kingdom’s response had been masterful.
Of course, Gavin White will have nightmares about his intercepted pass to Paul Murphy that led to Paddy Small’s right-footed shot deflecting off the Rathmore defender’s diving block and past his club-mate between the sticks, but it wasn’t the defining moment in the game.
