They were "grumpy old women", but next year Pinky Agnew, Geraldine Brophy and Lyndee-Jane Rutherford will become "party girls" when they bring their stage comedy back to Arrowtown on March 31.

Billed as wielding the new broom which will sweep New Zealand clean, the feisty femmes have formed the Pinny Party for the election year. The girls will poke fun at politics, men and anything else which comes to mind at the Athenaeum Hall, as part of their 20-date national tour.

Tickets go on sale through Ticket Direct on Monday, November 8.
