About Raisin
Raisin is a young and sweet pup looking for her forever home! She's a gentle soul who loves to give warm cuddles and kisses to her people. Raisin is also very social and playful, and loves to be around other dogs. She walks well on the lead and is learning more obedience commands from her foster mum every day!
In her forever home, Raisin would do best in a busy, active environment as she doesn't like being alone for too long. She's got plenty of love to give but still needs some extra training on manners. She loves going out and meeting people and new dogs and collecting sticks on her walks, so keeping Raisin active is a priority for her socialisation. She may not have had the best start in life but you can definitely ensure that that definitely changes now and she's allowed to show everyone just how much love she has to give. She loves bushwalks the most.
Favourite past times include watching toys randomly combust in front of her, sticks, following my humans around, sticks, checking in on the other dogs, sticks and of course the amazing all day buffet. She sleeps well, and is hardly bothered by much and so is just a great all-round dog who would be fine with kids but would prefer a home with another playful doggo friend.
LOCATION: FOSTER CARE **Application Process** If you are interested in this pet and ready to adopt now, please send in an application to the SCAR Adoption Team. On the Pet Rescue profile, push the "Enquire About This Pet" button. Follow the prompts to "send enquiry now" and in the message section please tell us all about you and your home. Ensure you tell us about anything specific that you feel makes you a great match for this particular pet, or if you have specific requirements for a pet coming in to your home. The information you provide helps us to start a conversation with potential adopters, and find a great match for pets in our care. Please note the following: We do not take applications for animals over the phone, as we are a small team and are trying our best to be fair to all applicants while creating the best outcomes for our animals. We aim to reply to all applications within 5 business days, and will confirm with all applicants once we have an adoption meet booked for the animal. All of our meet and greets occur at the adoption center in Craigieburn, and all going well you will take home your pet on the day of the meet. The majority of our animals are in a foster home, not at the shelter, so you need to apply via the website to meet them. Thank you! www.secondchanceanimalrescue.com.au ... because they all deserve one!
