Information

Time: 15 min each way

A little known walk to a fantastic golden sand beach with the freakish Split Apple Rock that sits on a reef out front. The rock itself looks best at a high tide, but low tide provides greater beach space and check out the little caves at the northern end. Great little adventure for the family.

Last saw the rock 60 years ago when the only way was by boat.

Great walking track even for geriatrics like my self.

Good track leading down to the beach with views of the rock and access to caves.

    Carpark was however quite overcrowded.

    Beautiful!

Had to park at the top of the hill with the motorhome and walk down. Not too bad at all - had baby in backpack and five year old walked. Walking track is well maintained.

Beautiful bay with stunning rock formations.

Motorhomes need to park on the road above the carpark, but it is only 100m away from the track entry.

Beautiful little bay worth every turn of the windy road.

Works also at low tide, when all the other bays are sucked empty.
