Practice finding main idea with differentiated tasks cards! This product includes:
- 32 task cards without the main ideas in their topic sentences - in color and black-and-white
- 32 scaffolded task cards with topic sentences - in color and black-and-white
- Student recording sheets
- Teacher answer key
These slides are EDITABLE, so you are welcome to make changes to the text or even make your own cards.
Have students complete all 32 cards on a double-sided recording sheet, or just complete a handful and have them fill out which tasks card #s they completed.
Task cards are 4 to a page, pages fitted for standard 8.5x11" printer paper.
Tasks cards without topic sentences are blue and green. Task cards with topic sentences are orange and yellow. Both sets come in black-and-white so you can save on your colored ink.
