Shetland star Ashley Jensen’s secret wedding joy six years after first husband’s death
SCOTS actress Ashley Jensen has secretly tied the knot six years after her ex-husband tragically died.
The Shetland star, 54, was left devastated after Terence Beesley took his own life at their Somerset home back in 2017.
The Ugly Betty actress found his body in a silver Mercedes in the garage of their home, quickly calling emergency services for help, but, devastatingly, he was unable to be saved.
But she has now found new happiness with her long-term love, fellow actor Kenny Doughty.
The couple celebrated tying the knot in a secret ceremony at the picturesque Priston Mill near Bath back in August.
Ashley and Kenny, 48, enjoyed the stunning, emotional day in front of a small group of family friends.

According to the Mail on Sunday, friends said Ashley "barely stopped smiling all day" during the "super fun" wedding ceremony.
And she looked stunning in an off-white gown with floral embroidery that she wore with coral platform sandals.
While Kenny, former Vera star, is also said to have been beaming during the intimate ceremony.
He looked dapper in a powder-blue suit which he paired with matching suede loafers.

A friend told the Mail on Sunday: "The day looked absolutely beautiful.
"Ashley looked just so, so happy. She was smiling and laughing, it was simply idyllic.
"There appeared to be so much love in that room."
The couple were joined by Ashley's 14-year-old son Francis from her previous marriage to Terence.
He wore a floral tie that matched one similar to one that Kenny wore.
Ashley and Kenny met while they were both working on the set of BBC drama Love, Lies And Records back in 2017.
But rumours that the pair had become engaged were sparked when Ashley was seen wearing a year on The Graham Norton Show.
She was also seen trying to cover her left hand while on the show earlier this month.
They have also been seen together at numerous events holding hands and were spotted holding hands during a night out in Bath in 2021.
