Celeb farmyard reality TV which once saw Rebecca Loos pleasure a pig is returning to our screens

KEEPERS of livestock, lock up your pigs – Celebs On The Farm is making a comeback.

The show, relaunched last year on Channel 5, is moving to MTV.

For the latest iteration of the programme — which sees a group of celebs live and work on a farm — producers have pulled together another random group.

I’m told this time around that royal commentator Colin Campbell, ex-EastEnder Shaun Williamson, Love Island’s Montana Brown and Hollyoaks actor Malique Thompson Dwyer are all on board.

Joining them are Blue singer Duncan James, drag queen Cheryl Hole, Geordie Shore’s Holly Hagan and Loose Women star Linda Robson.

A source said: “The original reboot was a big success but bosses are keen for more.

"They want to move away from the old shows of the past and they think it’s a fun show where punters can watch celebs doing a day job they’re normally a million miles away from.”

The series, which will be filmed in the Yorkshire Dales and is very similar to former TV show called The Farm, will air early next year and will once again be hosted by comic Stephen Bailey.

The Farm became headline-worthy 16 years ago when Rebecca Loos had to “collect semen” from a pig for a task.

The clip saw her manually assisting the poor porker, which led to Channel 5 being accused of dumbing down telly.

It still wasn’t as offensive as Jane McDonald’s various cruising programmes.

Max wrists his chance

STRICTLY Come Dancing is no stranger to injuries, and they normally come later in the series.

But The Wanted star Max George has sprained his wrist in the gym ahead of the first show this weekend.

Luckily, he didn’t hurt himself as badly as Made In Chelsea’s Jamie Laing last year, who had to pull out of that series but is back for a second crack this year.

Max, who is dating Ryan Giggs' ex-wife Stacey, was pictured arriving at rehearsals with partner Dianna Buswell, and a brace on his right arm.

Fortunately he’s performing the tango this week, so no lifts are required.

But maybe give the gym a miss for a while, Max – all those hours rehearsing will be tiring enough.

LOVE Islander Olivia Attwood is inviting ex Chris Hughes' best friend Kem Cetinay to her wedding to Blackburn footballer Bradley Dack.

The star admitted the pair are “friends again” after she forgave him for breaking up with Amber Davies.

She and Bradley had been due to wed abroad before Covid hit their plans.

The curse? No, curses

IT’S not just her footwork that Strictly star Nicola Adams has to work on, it’s her potty mouth too.

Her dance partner Katya Jones is so concerned that the boxer might curse live on the BBC1 show that she has banned her from swearing.

Instead, boxing ace Nicola has been told to say “Jeffrey” in place of naughty words.

A source said: “Katya knows it would be a disaster if Nicola swore on telly so is trying to train her out of it.

"The trouble is, Nicola usually just swears and doesn’t really think about it, so it’s been quite hard.

“Katya is making her say ‘Jeffrey’ instead though and it just makes her sound crazy, so Nicola will be speaking much more politely by the time Strictly is over.”

Writer Jed hints at end of the Line

HERE is the news fans of the best thing on telly in years have been dreading – Line Of Duty’s days look numbered.

The BBC show’s writer Jed Mercurio has revealed he knows how the cop drama, currently shooting series six in Northern Ireland, will end.

Asked whether he had decided on a conclusion for Line Of Duty, he said: “Yes. As an overview yes, but in terms of detail no.

“We would figure out the number of episodes based on the detail. I am in this very fortunate position where I can do other things and then come back to Line Of Duty.

“The fact is I’m not doing LOD year in, year out and they allow me to explore other ideas. If you have success in a particular genre you will be considered more marketable in that genre.

“Should you play to your strengths or is it you would enjoy doing something fresh?”

Line Of Duty has long been one of my favourite things on telly.

The whole lot is on iPlayer so if you’ve been living under a rock, get on it now.

So will it be crush or blush?

MOST people would run a mile before telling a pal they secretly harbour a crush on them.

But a group of singletons are letting ITV2 help them reveal their feelings.

The series, called Secret Crush, will see four hopefuls declare their true romantic intentions each episode, with a blind date arranged as the big reveal.

The other person will be told that someone they know likes them, but won’t find out who it is until the moment they meet on a date.

The show will be set in the UK and comes after the cancellation of Love Island due to coronavirus. At the very least it’ll be amusing to watch.
