Peter Saunders

Peter has been with Deloitte for over 27 years. He leads Deloitte’s Professional Practices Group, acting as audit and advisory partner for several of the UK’s top 20 law firms as well as other people-based businesses such as recruitment companies, consultancies and advertising agencies.

He is Chairman of the LLP SORP Steering Group of the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies and until recently he was the Chairman of the Association of Partnership Practitioners – an organisation which seeks to share best practice and knowledge amongst advisors to partnerships.

Peter frequently advises on mergers, acquisitions, remuneration, profit sharing and partnership disputes. He has also been significantly involved in a number of expert witness cases in connection with frauds or professional negligence.
