2023-24 | SENIOR SEASON
Honorable Mention All-Conference
Played in all 34 games and made 22 starts… Ranked second on the team with 11.2 points per game… Averaged 2.6 rebounds and a team-best 3.3 assists per game… Ranked fourth in the Big 12 with 2.0 steals per game… Had three or more steals in a game 14 times… made 90-of-122 free throw attempts and shot 73.8 percent… Scored a season-best 30 points on 11 of-18 shooting at Baylor (1/27/24), including 12 points in the three overtime periods as well as the go-ahead shot with 11.4 seconds remaining in the third overtime… Made the go-ahead 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds remaining to beat Kansas State (2/17/24)… Scored in double-figures 21 times… Had a career-high four blocks against West Virginia (2/12/24)… Tied or led TCU in assists 13 times… Had a career-best 10 assists against Houston Christian (11/27/23) to go with 15 points for his first TCU double-double… Made a season-best four 3-pointers on five attempts against UCF (3/9/24).

2022-23 | SENIOR SEASON (Delaware)
Started all 29 games… Led the Colonial Athletic Association with 20.6 points and 2.4 steals per game last season… Averaged 4.6 rebounds and 3.6 assists… Scored in double figures in all 29 games… Scored at least 20 points 16 times and at least 30 points four times… Scored a career-high 39 points on 13-of-21 shooting from the field and 5-of-8 from three against UNCW on Feb. 18, 2023… Recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds against Elon… Recorded a season-high eight assists against College of Charleston.
 
2021-22 | JUNIOR SEASON (Delaware)
Started all 35 games… Led the team and ranked seventh in the league with 13.6 points per game… Ranked second on the squad with 56 3-pointers and 78 assists… Ranked fourth in the CAA with 1.6 steals per game… Had 57 steals, which tied for the ninth most in a UD single season… Reached double figures in a team-high 26 games… Had three double-doubles on the year… Scored a career-high 30 points in a win over James Madison.
 
2020-21 | SOPHOMORE SEASON (George Washington)
Appeared in the first seven games while making five starts… Averaged 8.4 points and 2.0 rebounds in 26.3 minutes per game… Scored a season-high 18 points at Navy… Made a season-high six steals vs. Coppin State and added five against William & Mary… Led GW with 18 steals despite playing just seven games.
 
2019-20 | FRESHMAN SEASON (George Washington)
Appeared in all 31 games and made 28 starts… Ranked fourth on the team by averaging 10.4 points per game… Reached double figures in 19 games… Led the team with 1.8 steals per game… Posted first career double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds against Davidson… Scored a season-high 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field with six rebounds against Saint Joseph’s… Recorded 11 assists against Howard.
 
PREP CAREER
Led The Haverford School to an undefeated 30-0 season that culminated in a Class 5A state championship as a senior… Averaged 15 points per game and earned second team All-State honors… Averaged 10.7 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists as a junior to help Haverford go 23-6.
 
PERSONAL
Son of Jameer and Imani Nelson… Has younger sisters Jamia, Jayden and Jayce… Father, Jameer, starred at Saint Joseph’s University from 2000-04 before enjoying a 14-year NBA career, and is currently an Assistant GM with the Delaware Blue Coats.
