Good News..... Kitty has found a new home! I am confident the family adopting him are going to show him the best life has to offer for any fur baby. On another note with sadness, his owner passed just as she arrived at Hospice house Tues night. I know she is looking down on her baby and the wonderful family that that adopted him. I also know she is smiling to see all the compassionate hearts that offered their homes to Kitty or stepped up to help because that is how she was....kind, soft spoken, loving, and a big heart to those that needed comfort. A huge thank you from myself to all the wonderful neighborhood friends that offered help and/or kindness. Wishing all the best to Kitty and his family ❤️🙏🐾

Are these anyone’s cats? The black one is an unneutered male who’s been coming around for at least a month. The light colored one just showed up today around the food that we put out for the black cat. I’ve asked a few neighbors about the black cat and he may have been left behind by neighbors who moved. Just in case they are anyone’s missing cats. I wanted to post. Before anyone gives me a hard time that I haven’t taken them in, we have cats of our own, who don’t get along and have to be out in shifts. We were hoping to trap the black cat and pay for his neuter and vaccines if a rescue would take him. I don’t think he’s necessarily feral, maybe just a stray.

My wallet with my phone and credit cards and it was stolen a few months ago in my driveway in the morning between 8:30 AM and 10 o’clock. We tracked it over to Wells Fargo bank. They said they didn’t have it, but it was turned into the police department. I went out and got it. My credit cards were in it, but my phone was smashed. I live on Brook St.,, West

I don't know if anyone else has gotten this in their email but it seems very suspicious to me. Naturally, I did not open up the attachment because I have no clue who this person is or what I supposedly paid for and for what service. Anyway, this is the email. As you can see he didn't even enter my name in the salutation. There was an attachment which I of course am not showing. Joey, I think a big part of the problem lies with people seeing employment in the service sector, and especially fast food, as a career and not as a stepping stone to other opportunities. Time was when you walked into a fast food place the people behind the counter were teenagers trying to get work experience for their resume. No longer. Now It seems many are retirees supplementing their income while the traditional entry level people demand $15-20 an hour which management can’t pay unless you want to pay more for that Dunkin donut.
