It was the first year of Grade 12, and Konata was ready for the school year to begin. She had her pencil case ready, and is ready to make some new friends. Konata packed her bag, and walked outside the house, and saw her mother waving a goodbye to her daughter. Konata went on the school bus to school, and saw many of her friends. Like Miyuki, Tsukasa, and definitely, Kagami. She sat beside Kagami, and next to her were Miyuki and Tsukasa.
                          
Konata: So Kagami, do you like anyone in this class?
                          
Kagami: No one. It's none of your business.

                          
Konata: Be honest.
                          
Kagami: No one I said. Are you that dumb?
                          
Konata: No. Are you too dumb to know who your crush is?
                          
Kagami: Are you that dumb to understand what I'm saying?
                          
Konata: No. Are you?
                          
Kagami: First of all, why do you want to know who my crush is?
                          
Konata: (plays with Kagami's hair) I don't know, why aren't you honest?
                          
Kagami: I am being honest!!! It's just that you keep asking me these stupid questions!!!
                          
Konata: I ask these questions all the time, and you always say it's none of my business.
                          
Kagami: It is none of your business!!!! You don't need to know everything about me!!!!
                          
Konata: Alrighty then, I'll give you a promise. I'll won't ask you these 'stupid' questions ever again. Promise?
                          
Kagami: Promise.
                          
Konata: Kagami, can I ask you a question?
                          
Kagami: Yes, I'm available for your questions.
                          
Konata: Do you like anyone in this class?
                          
Kagami: ARRRRRRGH!!!!
                          
The school bus has arrived at the school, and the class get off the bus, and head straight for school.
                          
Konata: So, can I sit beside you at class?
                          
Kagami: Sure. As long you don't bother me.
                          
Konata: Great!!
                          
The gang head inside the school and straight to their classroom. They unpack their bags and sat in their seats.
                          
Kagami: Remember what I said, you can sit with me, as long you don't bother me.
                          
Konata: Okay.
                          
Kagami: Since you asked me, who's your crush?
                          
Konata: I'd like to keep that a secret.
                          
Kagami: C'mon!!! I wanna know!!!
                          
Konata: No. I'll tell you who my crush is outside at recess.
                          
Kagami: Okay. Do you mind if the others know?
                          
Konata: No. They should never know.
